Office Manager: Kara Bowman
Kara is proud to be a Johnson City native and loved her time growing up and playing sports in East Tennessee. After her freshman year of high school, she moved to Metro Atlanta to have more opportunities for growth with education and athletics. In 2010, she graduated cum laude from The University of Georgia in the Department of Kinesiology. Needless to say, she is a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan! After graduating from UGA, she spent the next several years as the Administrative Coordinator for a Urology practice in Athens, GA. During her time in that role, she was able to expand her knowledge with insurance billing and coding, office administration, scheduling, practice management, and patient care. Although she loved her time in Athens, Kara missed East Tennessee and the beautiful mountains that she called home. She moved back to Johnson City in 2015, and began working as an Athletic Trainer for ETSU Football before becoming the office manager at PureLife Chiropractic. Kara loves working at PureLife, and strongly believes in the power of chiropractic care as well as holistic and functional medicine.
